Terms
These are the terms between you and us when you use Legacy Compass. We have kept them plain. Using the service means you agree to them.
Last updated 28 July 2026. Version 2026-07-28.v1.
Who these terms are with
You are agreeing with Legacy Compass Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15085572, registered office 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. Where we say “we” or “us”, we mean that company.
What Legacy Compass is, and is not
Legacy Compass helps families have the practical and emotional conversations around a parent’s decline, before a crisis forces them. We give you a family resilience plan and, on the paid tiers, calls and expert support.
We are not a medical, legal, or financial adviser, and we are not a counselling or crisis service. Nothing we give you is medical, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for professional advice. If you are in distress, please contact the Samaritans on 116 123, free, at any time. In an emergency, call 999.
The tiers
Kitchen Table is free. You get a family resilience plan from a conversation with us.
Compass is a subscription of £12 a month. Your plan carries forward each time you come back, and your next steps become a checklist you can work through at your own pace. It continues until you cancel.
Expert is a one-off payment of £200 for a live session with a trained expert who reads your plan first. It also includes three months of Compass. It is a single session, not an ongoing service.
We may change the tiers or their prices. If we change the price of a Compass subscription you already hold, we will tell you first and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Payment
Payments are taken by our payment provider. We do not see or store your card details. A Compass subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. All prices include VAT where it applies.
Your right to cancel, and the waiver
For most things you buy online you have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Our paid tiers are digital services that begin as soon as you buy them: the Expert session becomes available to book, and Compass becomes active at once. When you buy one, you are asked to agree that the service begins straight away and to acknowledge that, once it has been fully delivered, you lose the 14-day right to cancel. Where the service has only partly been delivered when you cancel, you may owe a proportionate amount for what you have used.
You can cancel a Compass subscription at any time. It stops renewing and stays active until the end of the month you have paid for. Email support@legacycompass.net to cancel, or use any cancellation link we provide.
What we ask of you
Please use Legacy Compass for yourself and your own family, honestly and lawfully. The plan and any content we give you are for your personal use. You may share your plan with your own family; please do not resell it or our service.
Your information
How we handle your information, including the health information on a call, is set out in our privacy notice. The recording of a call happens only with your explicit consent, taken on the screen before the call.
Our responsibility to you
We take care to give you a good service, but we cannot promise the plan or any advice on a call will suit every situation, because every family is different. We do not exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not let us exclude. Beyond that, we are not liable for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.
None of this affects your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including that a service is provided with reasonable care and skill.
Ending your use
You can stop using Legacy Compass at any time and ask us to delete your information. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, and we will tell you why where we can.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. This version is 2026-07-28.v1. If we change these terms we will update the date and version at the top.
