Legacy Compass uses a few small pieces of first-party storage that the site needs to work. We also use two analytics tools to understand which parts of the service help families most, but only if you accept optional cookies in the banner. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Anything that is not strictly necessary stays off unless you choose to turn it on.

These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They do not need your consent.

• Your cookie choice. When you accept or decline non-essential cookies, we remember that so we do not ask you again.
• Intro shown. A note in your browser session so the opening animation plays only once per visit.
• Plan first-open. A small note in your browser so we can tell the first time you open your plan from later visits. This stays on your device.
• Security and delivery. Our hosting may set essential cookies to keep the service secure and running.

When you accept optional cookies, we turn on two analytics tools so we can see how the service is used and where visitors come from, and improve the parts that help families most:

• PostHog. Product analytics, hosted in the European Union. It records which pages you visit and how you move through the site. We have turned off session recording.
• Google Analytics. Website analytics that helps us understand visits and how people found us.

Neither loads until you accept. If you choose only essential cookies, they stay off. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your choice, and we will ask again.

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the banner shown when you first arrive. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the strictly necessary ones above are needed for the site to work properly.
